He later received his Masters of Professional Accountancy from Georgia State University. He is a member of The American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.

Mike graduated from Mercer University with a BA in political science. Mike later received a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from University of North Florida. In 1998 Mike became a Registered Investment Advisor. He is a member of The American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
